If you would like to post to Twitter from here, you will need to log in.
Your tweet: (The #NASCAR tag will be added if not included.)
I've done everything in my power to protect your Twitter username and password on this site. You need to be aware, however, that Twitter does not do anything to protect your information when you login to your Twitter account on any site other than Twitter.com. This means that you have to trust the proprietor with your account information: that they will not keep it on file (which we don't) or do anything untoward with your information (which we won't).
As such, your login information is stored only as a session cookie, which is a kind of cookie that contains little specific information about you and only stores your login information on our server until you close this browser window or log out, when it is destroyed.
Twitter is already working on a new system of authentication that is more like that of Facebook or Flickr, where a request explicitly goes through Twitter's systems and your password is never divulged to sites. Once Twitter rolls this out for everyone, we will implement it here, and you will be far more secure on every site that works with Twitter.
You are also perfectly able to use this site without divulging your Twitter account information, but you will be unable to post to Twitter from our site. (Posts made to Twitter through Twitter.com will still show up on our site.)
